3-Size Paver Pattern Generator
One fixed repeat for compatible small squares, rectangles and large squares. Enter your actual sizes, see the boundary cuts, and get a separate quantity for each size.
Your patio and actual paver sizes
The rectangle short side equals the small square side. For this repeat, large side = rectangle long side = 2 × small side + joint.
Fixed modular layout
Green outlines: whole pavers. Brown outlines: boundary cuts. White space: joints.
| Size | Whole | Cut | Buy* |
|---|---|---|---|
| Large square595 × 595 mm | 28 | 7 | 39 |
| Rectangle295 × 595 mm | 52 | 6 | 64 |
| Small square295 × 295 mm | 24 | 0 | 27 |
*Each boundary piece uses one new paver. Buy includes 10% extra stock, rounded up separately for each size. Offcuts are not reused.
Paver face area: 23.50 m². Discarded cut material before extra stock: 1.16 m². Joints are separate.
How this three-size pattern fits
Each full repeat contains one large square, two rectangles and one small square. With the default 295 / 595 mm sizes and 5 mm joints, the repeat pitch is 900 × 900 mm. The last joint strip at an outer edge may need a border or edge detail; this is a planning layout, not an installation specification.
Dimensions describe paver faces. Nominal 300 / 600 mm faces with a 5 mm joint do not close in this repeat: the large face and rectangle long side would need to be 605 mm. Incompatible sizes show an error instead of being stretched.
Actual dimensions and pack quantities
The default face dimensions and joint follow Bradstone Mode Profiled porcelain product information. This is BuildPlot’s fixed 1:2:1 repeat, not the manufacturer’s official laying pattern. A patio pack can have a different size mix; these counts do not solve pack inventory. Check current dimensions, joint requirements and individual-unit availability with your supplier.
What the free export includes
The SVG contains a dimensioned-in-millimetres rectangular layout, with each size coloured separately and boundary cuts outlined in brown. Print the page for the quantities. The tool supports one orientation and a rectangular patio up to 40 ft per side and 4,000 pieces. It does not optimise offcut reuse, obstacles, random patterns or arbitrary three-size sets.
